Doctor's Vitetta and Cortizo came to New Zealand as expert witnesses for Zenith in the case CC versus Zenith.

It wasn't until 2004 that the case was heard and the judgement took a further 13 months.

If the powers that be felt that the public were being seriously deceived and that their case was so cut and dried, why did they wait three years to lay charges, two years to come to court and another year for a resolution? That is 6 years.

And after all that time it has been turned into a bewildering media circus. The case was a Fair Trading Matter yet we have been personally vilified in every conceivable way. This case was supposed to be about one set of scientific evidence being stacked against another. Furthermore, the Herald's Saturday report was sent to web sites all round the world.

Sylvia was described as a sharp tongued liar when she was never on the witness stand.

We, the directors of Zenith, have been described as dishonest and we feel that we have been unjustifiably maligned. Because of our belief in our product and the philosophy of the company we felt that we had to defend the allegations made against us, no matter what the cost. We have fought for what we believe in and it has put us very, very heavily in debt. The media comment about us making millions is just not true.
